By searching for the term “zerg rush,” Google turns your search results page into a video game of sorts, where O’s appear on your screen and run down your page, eating all the text below them. It sounds pretty crazy, we know.

Eliminate the guessing game of knowing how much to tip a waiter by simply searching for “tip calculator.” You’ll be able to enter the cost of your meal, the % you’d like to tip, and how many people you’re eating with- voila! Google figures out all the details for you.

Google allows you to enter images in Google Images. Click the camera icon within the search bar and drag a photo there. You’ll get a list of results of where that image appears online.

To filter out any undesired search results, you can use the minus sign (otherwise known as a dash). For example, you can search for “Hanson -MMMBop” to find results for a Hanson that’s not related to the once famous pop band.
